Kanu Nwankwo Describes Condition Of Enyimba Stadium As Deplorable

The newly appointed chairman of Enyimba Int’l FC, Nwankwo Kanu, has described as deplorable the state of the once magnificent 23,000 capacity Enyimba stadium

The Chairman who was represented by the recently appointed Sporting Director and Ex-Nigerian International, Ifeanyi Ekweme, today, embarked on an inspection visit to the Enyimba int’l stadium.

The Ex-International was given a tour of the stadium facility by the stadium manager popularly known as Adamu and other staff of the facility.

Areas inspected includes- the players Lodge, the dressing room, spectators stand, the stadium pitch, press conference room and administrative block.

During the inspection, the former Super Eagles, mid fielder, Ifeanyi Ekwueme decried the deplorable state of the stadium and promised to report back to the chairman for onward transmission to the governor for immediate action before the commencement of the new NPL season.
