Tinubu Calls For Visionary Leadership In Africa
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has warned that Africa’s future hangs in the balance if it remains passive in shaping its own destiny.
Speaking at the African Union’s fifth mid-year coordination meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, President Tinubu emphasised the need for visionary leadership in African countries, given the challenges posed by history and current global uncertainties.
He acknowledged the harsh and unpredictable nature of the world, highlighting the potential for disruptive forces to halt progress and plunge nations into dire circumstances.
Rejecting the notion of passivity, the Nigerian leader urged all Africans to do the same, emphasising that the challenges ahead demand effective governance.
