“Gone Are The Days Of Appointments Just To Create Jobs For The ‘Boys’”—Gov Alex Otti

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti says, gone are the days of making appointments just to create jobs for the “boys.”

He stated this at the Banquet hall of the Government House Umuahia during the swearing in of the second batch of two additional commissioners into the State Executive Council.

Dr. Otti who noted that the two Commissioners were well engaged with the European Union and General Electric management in Netherlands respectively before their appointments, commended them for their show of love and sacrifices to the State and congratulated them for accepting to serve the State.

Responding on behalf of his colleague, the Commissioner for Power and Public Utilities, Engr. Ikechukwu Monday, thanked the Governor for the opportunity given them to serve and pledged to do their best in the service of the State.
