Abia Governor, Alex Otti, has directed security agencies to deal decisively with criminal elements as crimes and criminalities surge in different parts of the state.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Strategic Communication, Prince Okey Kanu, in a statement said the Governor is well apprised with the security situation in Umuahia and Aba where kidnapping for ransom, robbery, illegal collection of levies have become the order of the day.
The government called on traditional rulers, President Generals of town unions and landlords to partner the state government to ensure a crime-free Abia within their domains.
