ENUGU GOVERNOR MEETS TINUBU, SEEKS NNAMDI KANU’S RELEASE
Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah has presented to President Bola Tinubu the collective demand of the southeast for the release the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.
Briefing State House correspondents on the issue, the Governor said their demand was propelled by President Tinubu’s pronouncement that he would serve with compassion.
The Governor said his visit was also to register their support to President Tinubu’s administration and get their people on the path of development.
Governor Mbah said Enugu had a number of dominant assets, which they believe that partnering with the Federal Government would transform them into productive assets.
