APC Unveils Consensus Candidates For House Of Reps Leadership

All Progressives Congress, APC’s consensus candidates for House of Reps Speaker and Deputy Speaker Hon Tajudeen Abbas and Hon Benjamin Kalu have been unveiled to the public.

The unveiling took place at a meeting of the House Joint Task, in Abuja.

Speaking after the ceremony, the Speakership candidate, Hon Tajudeen Abbas, said that his nomination is based on competence.

He also said that he was reaching out to other speakership aspirants to work together for the good of the country.

Hon Abbas also said that by next week, there will be an official declaration where his sixteen points agenda will be unveiled.

Also speaking on his nomination, Hon Benjamin Kalu said that the party has taken an inclusion step by choosing him.

He pledged to channel his energy to make sure that the APC is more rooted in the south east.
