Abia Poly Takes Adult Education To Ariaria Traders

As part of moves to pursue further education that will boost their trades and businesses, Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, is partnering Ariaria International Market in Aba to avail traders, who desire to further their education, the opportunity to accomplish such a dream.

The partnership led by the Rector, Mr. Hagler Okorie, is aimed at improving the financial profile of the polytechnic.

In appreciation, Chairman of the Market Traders, Michael Chijioke Amaku, expressed gratitude to the management of state polytechnic for their willingness to support the traders’ education, stating that it was a much-needed intervention that would benefit the entire market community.

Abia Poly Management says the partnership is necessary for most of the traders because in a bid to succeed in their business, they could not reach the full educational attainment.

The Rector said the proposed programme will favour traders, who wish to continue their education,  and would take the form and flexibility of an evening school, which would be accessible to traders after business hours.
