Gov Ikpeazu Attributes Peace In Abia State To Grace Of God

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has attributed the relative peace in Abia State to many factors including the grace of God and being intentional about issues of security.

Governor Ikpeazu who disclosed this during an interview with Newsmen at the Governor’s lodge in Aba, stressed the need to identify the challenges of youths and ensure they are fairly treated.

Reacting to the level of infrastructural development across the state, Dr Ikpeazu said his administration has built four bridges in Abia North, built the Osisioma flyover to ease traffic around the area, undertook  erosion control projects, constructed numerous roads including Aba road Umuahia, Ukaegbu pocket estate, Aba Owerri road, Kamalu, Umule, Nicholas street, ABSUTH road, Immaculate Avenue, Brass junction, Egege, Ebenma, Ovom, Ukaegbu, Umuola, Nwaobasi Estate, Park road, East Street, Azikiwe, Milverton, Eziukwu, Ojike, Okigwe, Osusu, Ngwa road, Ukaegbu estate road in Umuahia, Ossah-Ohuhu road while currently working on Uratta, Omuma and Faulks roads.

He also disclosed that his administration has done massive infrastructural renewal in Aba and most parts of the state, constructed within his first one hundred days in office the Omini Drive, Ukaegbu, Umuola and Ehere roads to create easy access into Aba the commercial nerve centre of the state as well as completed the Ochendo International Conference Centre, ASUBEB building, the JAAC building started by his predecessor while the Abia Investment House , ABSIEC headquarters and others conceptualized administration have also been completed.
