APGA Deputy Governorship Candidate In Abia State Resigns From Party

The deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the March 18 election in Abia State and serving member of the state Assembly for Aba South Constituency, Obinna Ichita, has resigned from the party.

He notified his Enyimba Ward III Chairman, eight days after the election, which his party lost to Labour Party, and came fifth.

In his resignation letter, which he copied the state APGA Chairman without giving reason for his resignation, he stated that his resignation took effect from March 24 that he dated his letter.
