Gov Ikpeazu Sacks Newly Appointed Rector Of Abia State College of Health Sciences

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has withdrawn the appointment of Dr. Nwamuo Alozie Kingsley as the Acting Rector, Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba.

This withdrawal was conveyed in a statement by secretary to Abia State Government, Barrister Chris Ezem, made available to Enyimba FM.

According to the statement, this is in view of subsisting security report surrounding his appointment.

This is coming less than 24 hours after he was appointed following the suspension of Professor Chigbu Lawrence Nwaneri as the rector of the college.

The Governor further directs the appointment of the Head of Department of Public Health, Ezeakolam Nwaogwugwu as the Acting Rector of the college.

The appointment takes immediate effect.
