Peter Obi Not Against Tinubu’s Victory But The Process Of His Declaration
The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections, Peter Obi, says he is challenging the process leading to the declaration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, as the winner of the election and not the declaration itself.
Obi said this in a monitored interview.
He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to be transparent and allow itself to be scrutinized by the public since it is a public institution run by taxpayers’ money.
He also said that the victory of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu is not the will of God.
Obi said God’s wish was for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to conduct a credible, free and fair election.
