Gov Ikpeazu Of Abia State Debunks Orji Uzor Kalu’s Claims That He Would Support Tinubu

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, is faulting claims by the Chief Whip of the Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu, that he will support All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, during the presidential election.

Ikpeazu, who is a member of the aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party G-5 governors, described the statement credited to Kalu as “wishful thinking”.

The lawmaker had during an interview with a national television said, Okezie Ikepazu, will also support Tinubu

Debunking the claim while speaking after inspecting the ongoing final asphalt overlay on Faulks Road, Aba, Ikpeazu said that “no member of G5 can railroad another member into supporting anyone against his will as suggested by Senator Kalu”.

Backing Ikeazu, the Director of Strategic Engagement, Abia State PDP Campaign Council, Chief John Kalu, said the claims were just mere politics.
