Vice Chairman Of PDP in Abia State resigned his membership of the party

Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State, Chief David Chigbu, has resigned his membership of the party.

He also declared support for Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, who is running for the Abia South senatorial district election under the umbrella of the All Progressive Grand Alliance against Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Abaribe had left the PDP in the build-up to the party’s primary election last year.

Chigbu, in a statement described his former party as a fraud and one that has thrown the state under the bus.

Abaribe, he said, is a symbol of what integrity and resilience is, even in the face of persecution.
