N117 billion Contract For The Construction Of The Oloibiri Oil Museum And Research Centre.
Federal Executive Council (FEC) is approving a N117 billion contract for the construction of the Oloibiri Oil Museum and Research Centre.
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva told State House correspondents that the contract would be delivered in 30 months.
He said the project, which was initiated in early 1980s by the Shagari Administration and afterwards abandoned, would be one of the major legacies of President Muhammadu Buhari in the Niger-Delta.
Also briefing newsmen, the Minister of Aviation, Alhaji Hadi Sirika, said the FEC had approved more than N700 million contract for technical support and maintenance of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.
The Minister, who said the duration of the contract was 12 months, explained that Nigeria was at the 5th stage of the AOC Insurance by the NCAA, and that the aircraft will be ready to fly after obtaining the insurance.
