The meeting, which took place in Abuja, also had Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, and Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, in attendance.

Also present at the meeting was the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, as well as the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.

Although details of the meeting were not made public, it may not be unconnected with the nationwide cash crunch, propelled by the Naira redesign policy.
