Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Six

The concluding games of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL)matchday six were played across different centres on Sunday.

While no away win was recorded, there was a draw in one of the fixtures while the other seven games ended with victories for the home teams.

Uche Collins restored Akwa’s lead in the 45th minute before Remo’s forward Andy Okpe was sent off for the second bookable offence.

Olalere Segun put the game beyond the Sky Blues Boys with a well-taken goal in the 60th minute.

Lobi Stars did enough to secure a valuable away point against Niger Tornadoes.

Stephen Chukwude netted the only goal of the game as Sunshine Stars defeated Bayelsa United 1-0 at the Akure Township Stadium.
