President Muhammadu Buhari vows to support Nigerians to elect their choice in the 2023 general elections
President Muhammadu Buhari is vowing to support Nigerians to elect their choice in the 2023 general elections while charging the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to remain politically neutral and ensure the country delivers a successful election next year.
He made the pledge in Owerri, the Imo State capital, while declaring open the three-day Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers.
He said he is interested in an election Nigerians would accept and be happy with the outcome.

Speaking during the event, Imo State governor, Hope Uzodimma advised that all candidates should take oaths to resolve all post-election disputes only through court processes.

Also, in his remark, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Usman Alkali Baba, said the retreat will unveil the strategic plan for the 2023 election to produce a credible election in 2023 that will be acceptable to Nigerians.
